COVID-19 VACCINE

Heart City Health – Simpson is a designated COVID-19 vaccination site.

Heath City Health is thankful to be a part of the COVID-19 vaccination program in Elkhart County. We are following all State guidelines, including the rules regarding the phases of distribution.

Vaccinations of the Moderna COVID-19 two-dose vaccine are given at our Simpson location only. NOTE: Moderna is only available for 18-year-olds and older.

You MUST schedule an appointment for the vaccine with the State of Indiana.

You will not be vaccinated if you do not live in the State of Indiana. No walk-ins are allowed.

Please do not register or walk-in for the vaccine if you do not live in Indiana. We have compiled a list of surrounding states for your convenience.

COVID-19 TESTING

Beginning February 1, 2021, we will no longer have COVID-19 testing in the Simpson parking lot.

We do still operate a free State of Indiana testing site at Concord Mall.

To schedule an appointment for free testing with the State of Indiana, please visit https://www.coronavirus.in.gov.

Current appointments at Heart City Health

If you are a Heart City Health patient, we will still test for COVID-19 if it is ordered as part of your scheduled medical appointment and considered necessary.

The CARES Act requires us to post the cash price of these tests on our website.

Heart City Health is administering COVID-19 tests and must bill through insurance (copays do not apply). If you do not have insurance, you will not be charged for the test. Heart City Health is required to disclose that we incur a $100 charge for each COVID-19 test. We will not turn patients away for not having insurance.


Heart City Health COVID-19 testing criteria is as follows:

  • Symptoms of COVID-19
  • Exposure to someone who tested positive
  • A written order from your doctor
  • Have previously tested positive (14 days prior) and you need to be retested.

If you need a medication refill, please call our Pharmacy first at 574-970-1441 to minimize your wait time in the lobby.

We are asking all patients to call to schedule all non-COVID related visits appointments instead of walking in for your safety.
