Elkhart, IN – Heart City Health is proud to announce the newest addition to its esteemed team, Adam Peila, PMHNP, who will be serving at Simpson-Behavioral Health. With his wealth of experience and dedication to patient care, Adam brings a valuable asset to Heart City Health’s mission of providing comprehensive healthcare services to the community.
Adam Peila holds a Bachelor of Science in Health Science from Brigham Young University, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Walsh University, and a Master of Science in Psychiatric Mental Health from Walsh University. Prior to joining Heart City Health, Adam gained valuable experience working in various healthcare settings, where he honed his skills in psychiatric nursing and behavioral health management.
While at Summa St. Thomas Hospital, Adam specialized in adult psychiatric care, geriatric psychiatric care, and detox services. His responsibilities included providing care for patients with acute psychiatric symptoms, maintaining a therapeutic environment for inpatient residents, and ensuring timely and comprehensive documentation of patient care needs. Adam’s background in these critical areas further strengthens Heart City Health’s commitment to delivering exceptional behavioral health services to the community.
