ELKHART County, Ind. – On Thursday, December 17, 2020, Elkhart County 4-H Fair Board showed their love for Heart City Health COVID-19 testing site employees. Community members Bruce and Patty Nowlin, with their daughter Lily, volunteered their time to deliver free lunches and gift bags.
For the past two weeks, the Elkhart County 4-H Fair Board invited organizations and businesses to inundate Elkhart County healthcare facilities with small tokens of appreciation. Care packages varied in size and included snacks, thank you cards, meals, and monetary donations. Volunteers and organizations delivered to emergency rooms and intensive care units at local hospitals, the Elkhart Health Department, nursing homes, fire stations, and hospice care centers.
We appreciate our employees at Heart City Health for their dedication and this gesture from the Elkhart County 4-H Fair Board.
