Heart City Health Appoints New Chief Medical Officer
Elkhart, IN – Heart City Health Center is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Bhawna Jha, MD, MRCP, MBA, as its new Chief Medical Officer. Dr. Jha will be key in advancing the organization’s mission to provide high-quality, patient-centered care to the community.
Dr. Jha brings a distinguished background to her new role, holding triple board certifications in Neurology, Pain Medicine, and Psychiatry. She possesses a strong foundation in executive leadership, backed by nine years of experience in healthcare administration. Dr. Jha earned her MD from PT JNM Medical College, India, and completed her residency and fellowship at Hershey Medical Center/Penn State University. She furthered her education with an Executive Master of Business Administration from the Kellogg School of Management.
Dr. Jha demonstrated her exceptional leadership abilities in her previous role as Medical Director and Adjunct Professor at the University of Arkansas Medical Sciences. She spearheaded initiatives in utilization management and value-based care, significantly improving patient outcomes and reducing costs.
