ELKHART, IND. – Julie Jarvis, DDS, has joined Heart City Health Dental Center to address the number of new patients coming in for preventative exams.
“I joined Heart City Health because I want to make a difference in the area where I live,” said Dr. Jarvis. “It is a very positive atmosphere, and everyone helps each other out. You can see that, especially when patients arrive in pain. When they leave feeling better, I know I’m making an impact in my community.”
Dr. Jarvis graduated from Indiana University School of Dentistry. After graduating, Dr. Jarvis was a Navy dentist for six years and spent her time at Charleston Naval Shipyard in South Carolina, Marine Corps Air Station at Kaneohe Bay in Hawaii, and Naval Station Great Lakes in Chicago, Illinois. Dr. Jarvis specializes in dental emergencies and restorative dentistry such as bridges, crowns, dentures and veneers.
“It is great to have Dr. Jarvis on our team at the Dental Center,” said Meenakshi Gupta, M.D., MPH, FAAP, and Chief Medical Officer at Heart City Health. “Our patients, especially kids, look forward to their dental appointments with her.”
