Clinical Manager

The Clinical Manager is responsible for organizing and overseeing the administrative and clinical aspects of the Clinical Department. The Clinical Manager oversees the hiring and training of clinical personnel, staff scheduling, and assisting with payroll for Medical Assistants and Registered Nurses. This position requires skills in collaborative multidisciplinary consultation with managers, health care team members, and physicians to provide seamless coordination of clinical planning. The Clinical Manager may also be included in policy and procedure development and performing quality improvement.

Qualifications

Minimum of Associates degree in Nursing (ADN), Bachelor’s degree preferred. At-least 3 years of previous Nursing experience and 2 years of previous Management experience. Must have active Indiana RN License. Computer knowledge required; Windows, Microsoft Office applications, and internet savvy.

Responsibilities

Knowledgeable in all clinical aspects both administratively and clinically in order to assist in the department if need be. This includes but is not limited to: patient intake, obtaining vitals, chart preparation, administering immunizations and medications, lab draws, discharging of patients, assisting in office procedures, scheduling of appointments, retrieve medical records, complete prior authorizations or precertification, communicate test results, and accurate chart documentation.
