Qualifications

Must have a valid and current Dental Hygienist License. Must have a current CPR card. Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience as a Hygienist preferred.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

The dentist treats problems related to the mouth, teeth, gums, and jaws at Heart City Health. The dentist also provides and oversees direct dental diagnosis, treatment, procedures, and care for a specified patient population, prescribes pharmaceuticals, other medications, and treatment regimens as appropriate to assessed medical conditions, refers patients to specialists and to relevant patient care components as appropriate, follows established departmental policies, procedures, and objectives, continuous quality improvement objectives, and safety, environmental, and/or infection control standards as appropriate to the position, participates in specified health promotion, education and /or prevention programs, performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned, and advises patients on oral hygiene.

Medical Assistant

Qualifications

High School or GED required. Medical Assistant Degree and/or Medical Assistant Certified required. One year of clinical medical office experience preferred. Previous experience with EHR system strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include obtaining medical and social history of patient, performing systematic physical examinations, and accurately interpreting lab data and other supporting information for diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic disease.
Additionally, the provider will appropriately code patient visits and prescribe medications, accurately document patient data, diagnosis and treatment plans, and initiate medical and social referrals as indicated.
