Chief Medical Officer

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Creating and implementing provider engagement and alignment strategies, including promotion of programs and training to sustain professional satisfaction. Establish, monitor and improve the standards of care through performance benchmarks, goals setting and training. Recommend and drive strategies to enhance clinical performance, effectiveness, efficiencies, productivity and compliance. Develop, implement, monitor and revise clinical policies and procedures, quality initiatives and practice guidelines. Manage 15+ member provider staff (physicians and practitioners). Review patient medical records for accuracy and appropriateness of care in order to complete clinical performance evaluations. Ensure that all Clinical Staff practices comply with all local, state, federal and other regulatory requirements as well as nationally recognized standards of care. Behavioral Health Case Department Manager

Responsibilities

The behavioral health care manager is a core member of the collaborative care team, including the patient’s medical provider and psychiatric consultant as well as the larger primary care team or medical team. The behavioral health care manager is responsible for supporting and coordinating the mental and physical health care of patients on an assigned patient caseload, with the patient’s medical provider and, when appropriate, other mental health providers.

  1. Support the mental health and physical health care of patients. Closely coordinate care with the patients medical provider.
  2. Screen and assess patients for common mental health and substance abuse disorders. Facilitate patient engagement and follow-up care.

Responsible for all financial accounting and reporting, procedures and internal controls of the department.
