By supporting Heart City Health Center, you are not giving money simply for health services. You are personally lending a hand to support the wellness and quality of life of your neighbor.
Your donation allows HCHC to keep costs as low as possible to reach the staggering number of Elkhart residents who are uninsured or experiencing financial hardship. For those without insurance, HCHC offers a sliding fee scale based on income. Even with this, some families cannot afford the minimum visit fee of $15.

Affordable, quality healthcare provides an opportunity for better health outcomes for everyone by allowing for much needed preventative screenings, better chronic disease management and reduced visits to the emergency room.

Low cost health care empowers families so that they don’t have to choose between feeding their children or getting the healthcare they need. The ability to give someone peace of mind knowing that they can pick up the phone at any time to make an appointment for their sick child is priceless. Your donation to HCHC is greatly appreciated by your neighbor, your co-worker, families in need and the Board and Staff of HCHC.

Give to Health! Fund

The Give to Health! Fund is an unrestricted fund that provides operational support for the health center. These funds allow HCHC to keep costs affordable to patients and are used for things such as purchasing equipment, hiring staff and community outreach. (Please reference Give to Health!)

The Matthew 25 Fund

A special Matthew 25 Fund has been established to provide additional financial help for patients who need emergency dental services. These funds are used solely for patient care and are not for any operational support of the health or dental center. (Please reference Matthew 25)

Specialty Care Fund

HCHC is developing partnerships with specialists in the area to see patients at a reduced rate. This fund is designed to help offset costs of services not provided by HCHC. Too many times, patients don’t complete the care they need because of money. You can help a patient get a much needed MRI, see a Cardiologist or get a CAT scan. (Please reference Specialty Care) Heart City Health Center, Inc. is a private, non-profit 501(c)(3) organization. All donations are tax deductible to the fullest extent allowed by the law. You will receive a confirmation of your donation for tax purposes.
